STREAM New Music:: Diplo - Revolution EP

Revolution is Diplo's follow up to the meme-defining Express Yourself EP. Teaming up with an all new cast of friends including Mike Posner, RiFF RAFF, Travis Porter, Action Bronson and many more , Diplo has produced one of the most cutting edge dance EP's in recent memory. "Biggie Bounce" continues where "Express Yourself" left off, creating a new NOLA bounce anthem with Travis Porter, restating Diplo's claim to the king of twerk. Diplo aims for the clouds with "Revolution," allowing Kai's vocal delivery to soar above the stadium trap instrumental. "Crown" lets loose one of the hardest drops of Diplo's career only to have him pull it back in with Mike Posner's light hearted vocals. The EP is rounded out with "Rock Steady", an homage to old school hip hop featuring verses from Action Bronson, Mr MFN esquire and Mad Decent's own RiFF RAFF. Each track on the Revolution EP highlights a different aspect of Diplo's production style and displays why he's one of the most sought after producers in the world.

80s Top 40 Revisited

Wow - for as bad that Rage cover was, the new CHVRCHES tune is a slice of prime 80s Top 40 pop, in a good way. Certainly veers closer to the mainstream than their earlier work, but we're not sure which direction they ultimately want to go here. Be interesting to hear more tracks as they roll out.

Phosphorescent Announces 'Muchacho'

Fantastic new music from a long-time favorite Phosphorescent. Muchacho comes out March 15 on Dead Oceans.

Muchacho reprises the understated melancholia and sensuous minimalism of Pride, while kicking up a little of Here’s To Taking It Easy’s dust, but it also strikes out into more adventurous waters via rhythm and electronic textures.

Caitlin Rose Announces New Album

Exciting news today, as longtime Stark favorite Caitlin Rose announces her new album The Stand-In Feb 25 via Names Records (in the UK). The new record will be released on March 5th in the States via ATO and we very much welcome the new track, "No One To Call" below. Featuring Rose's signature vocal, "No One To Call" recalls the best of More Adventurous era Rilo Kiley intertwined with the warm glowing instrumentation and harmonies of the classic 70s-era Rondstandt anyone who follows her social media knows she loves so well.
