Pitchfork.tv to debut April 7

As if they don't do enough already, Pitchfork is once again, one-upping us. Already hailed as one of the most influential and promising music review sites going, Pitchforkmedia.com will soon be offering Pitchfork.tv. The site, to premiere April 7, will play host to solely independent-based music videos, full-length films, documentaries, shorts and Take Away Show-like underground performances.

MTV, eat your heart out. You sold out and now, well, we don't need you anymore. We might have relied on your Kurt Loader ten-to-the-hour updates in the 90s, but give me Pitchfork.tv, it has the courage to be different, which makes it poetic.

You know where to find me on April 7.
