Jon Hopkins and Natasha Khan: "Garden's Heart"

Jon Hopkins is soundtracking the upcoming film How I Live Now. Above is a collaboration with Natasha Khan - the smoldering and sad "Garden's Heart." We recently heard Hopkins collaborate w/ Purity Ring on "Breathe This Air." The single is out October 7 via Parlophone, and the film is out October 4.

Bat For Lashes Return with "Laura"

We're thrilled Natasha Khan aka Bat For Lashes is back. The new track is gorgeous, and available for purchase today. Her new album The Haunted Man, is set for release on October 23, 2012 in the U.S. via EMI’s Capitol Records. The video for "Laura" is below.

Lewis & Clarke & Caroline Weeks To Tour

Lewis and Clarke have been a great new find for us. The same goes for Caroline Weeks. We've written on both in the past, and now they will join each other on a tour this summer from late July to mid-August. What this bill may lack in sheer rock force, it makes up for in sweeping folk beauty. Yet, we must be clear, neither of these acts come anywhere near adjectives like 'precious' or 'twee.' These are hard hitting musicians with serious writing talent. Lewis and Clarke have toured with Bat For Lashes and Caroline Weeks used to be IN Bat for Lashes, so if you need a common reference point - there you go. See after the jump for tour dates...
