Free Energy Live, Live

Morning all. An exciting week is upon us as Free Energy returns to NYC with back-to-back shows this Thursday (Mercury Lounge, NYC) and Friday (Knitting Factory, Brooklyn) both with Foreign Born supporting. Their debut record Stuck on Nothing dropped digitally yesterday, but physically on May 4 (Astralwerks/DFA Records.) Some are calling these skinny-jeaned Philadelphians (although the lead guitarist has a major Charlie Bucket thing going on) the Darkness of '10; they drop the falsetto, but keep the crotch rock. Simply put, this album makes you want to party and maybe break a table while doing so. In anticipation of their upcoming NYC shows, we offer you the above live track from a recording the Free Energy boys did for KEXP/Seattle, WA. Enjoy
