Great news folks. Last year The Dodos killed us with their Frenchkiss debut Visiter. Not only was it organic and melodic, it was driving and passionate, melding folk and country with floor-tom pounding and cymbal-bashing rock. This morning we saw that they have their follow-up album Time to Die coming out 9/15 again on Frenchkiss. Great news indeed. For this outing they enlisted ace producer Phil EK (Built To Spill, Fleet Foxes, The Shins) and a 21-year-old, classically-trained vibraphone player named Keaton Snyder. Sure. Lookin forward to September more and more.
