Valencia: "Holiday"

The guys from Valencia aren't just an earnest, hard-working band and friends of the blog: they're also good samaritans. Per guitarist Brendan Walter's Twitter, the band pulled a mother and her two kids from a flipped car in a wreck on Interstate 84 early this morning. Wow. Not many people, let alone members in a rock band, would be selfless enough to do something like this, so we sincerely applaud the guys for their actions. 

We also sincerely believe that Valencia should be one of the biggest bands in the country right now. We All Need A Reason To Believe was an honest, heart-on-sleeve slice of pop-rock, and it just might be the best album in this genre that you didn't hear last year. So do yourself a favor: support a great band with even better intentions, and check out the album and the band on tour. (Dates in the replies.)
