Or, The Whale just released a new MP3 from their debut album, Light Poles and Pines which dropped Jan. 20 (Seany Records.) This San Francisco septet has a big, yet delicate Americana sound. Their music is genuine, reinforced by the sweet, hanging female vocalists Julie Anne Thomasson and Lindsay Garfield. The album sounds like the picture above looks. Check 'em out.
