"Fantasy, the new record from Lightning Dust (Amber Webber and Josh Wells of Black Mountain), will be out on Jagjaguwar on June 25th (24th in the UK). Fantasy is Lightning Dust's third proper full-length album, and it finds its inspiration in skeletal synth pop, modern R&B beats, the films of John Carpenter and -- in accordance with Lightning Dust's only longstanding rule -- absolute minimalism."

Lightning Dust: "Diamond"

The Blog Reel is Back!
Flaming Lips (ft Karen O): "I Can Be A Frog"
Lightning Dust: "Never Seen" [mp3]
St. Vincent: "Marrow"
All of these videos and artists come highly recommended by, well, everyone. Especially Lightning Dust! The first few spins through the new Flaming Lips album have been... interesting. Haven't really "absorbed" that one yet.
