Kill It Kid "Pray On Me" Video

The UK's Kill It Kid hasn't made so much as a dent in the US blogosphere and that, in my ever humble opinion, is bullshit. With a world of bands influenced by the White Stripes and Black Keys, it's rare to find a group pulling something original out of the deep well of blues-rock.

Frontman/songwriter Chris Turpin has, however, managed to find the sweet between snarling riffs, wailing vocals and, ya know, actual songs that you can remember. It's a rare triple threat in a genre loaded with guys wielding atomic guitar rigs but playing BB-gun songs.

Kill It Kid's sophomore release Feet Fall Heavy is do out on September 19 via One Little Indian.
