Tonight: Ivan and Alyosha at The Living Room
Following their intimate first release, The Verse, The Chorus, the Seattle duo Ivan and Alyosha are back with a new EP, Fathers Be Kind. Released at the beginning of February, original members, Tim Wilson and Ryan Carbary are joined by Tim Kim and Pete Wilson on the new EP. The new members bring a fuller sound to the band that takes nothing away from the band’s warmth. Fathers Be Kind pursues love and the unpredictable future, with melodies and harmonies that lighten the seriousness of the lyrics. Comforting and thoughtful, “Fathers Be Kind” is a wonderful second EP from Ivan and Alyosha.
INA recently played a stellar Tiny Desk session for the folks at NPR, and will be hitting the stage tonight (Friday) at the Mercury Lounge followed up by a bevy of SXSW shows.
