Here is the new mp3 "Scissor" from the upcoming Liars' record Sisterworld dropping March 10th on Mute. It's about as dark as you would expect from Liars. It's melodic and restrained initially, as you find yourself thinking "is this the right band?" Then about halfway through, they flip the switch and the thick guitar and bass noise take over, supported by an array of distorted cymbals. You sit back, realize you're listening to The Liars after all, and everything makes sense.
