As noted previously, the Fresh and Onlys were part of the hazy 4th of July that was the Woodsist/Captured tracks festival. While that festival was months ago, the bands there have gone on to make some pretty solid names for themselves. I mean shit, Dum Dum Girls are on Sub Pop now! We posted on the new Real Estate album yesterday, so it was only fair to post this new mp3 from their label-mates today. The Fresh and Only's did their part to separate themselves from the reverbed masses that day in July, and the beautifully scuzzy music they've released to date has easily lived up to our expectations. Their record Grey-Eyed Girls came out 9/15 on Woodsist and Stereogum premiered the new mp3 above. Woodsist for label of the year? Anyone? Tour dates with Thee Oh Sees after the jump.
