We wrote off Porcelain Raft as one of the seemingly countless synth/disco DJs with a left of center band name that is jamming the bloggosphere every day. Yet, with European dates supporting M83, and a deal with a trustworthy A&R gate keeper in Secretly Canadian, our skepticism began to wane. One listen to the below track "Put Me To Sleep" off of debut album Strange Weekend (1/24), assuaged our fears and brought us into the midst of some hazy, cloudy, European city somewhere, and we were hooked.
